This package includes an airboat ride, lunch and a guided paddle trip into the swamps of the Everglades. Stop by the Ivey House no later than 10:45am to check in and to receive your vouchers. Venture next door for a thrilling hour long airboat ride gliding over the expansive beauty of the sawgrass prairie. Local airboats stay on designated trails in order to keep the environmental impact to a minimum. Return to the Ivey House for a scrumptious box lunch. At 1:00pm meet your naturalist guide for a paddling adventure deep into the Everglades. Paddle through narrow mangrove tunnels and cypress forests. You may even float next to an alligator basking on a nearby bank. This magical experience will give you a taste of the Everglades.

  • Check into the Ivey House Inn
    
  • If you arrive in the afternoon explore fascinating boardwalks and the intriguing historical Everglades City.
    
• Day Two
  • Wake early and have a delicious breakfast at the Ivey House.
    
  • Kayak into a New Day. There are few things more enchanting than the Everglades as she awakes. Glide into a new day as the birds soar, the trees whisper and the morning colors change. 7:30am to 11:30am.
    
  • Relax around the pool and let the jets relax your muscles or explore the area on your own.
    
  • Paddle into the Twilight. Feel the mystery of encroaching Everglades night. Paddle through mangrove tunnels, into the saw-grass prairie, and watch the setting sun. As darkness arrives, the alligators' eyes seem to glow in your headlamp adding a mystique all its own. Times vary based on sun set.
