Everglades Adventures offers amazing daily eco-paddling trips that explore unique areas of fresh water subtropical Everglades habitat. Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime journey as you safely glide through magical mangrove tunnels and cypress ponds flush with exotic wildlife like endangered American alligators and manatees, crocodiles and rays, flamingos, osprey, bald eagles, and other rare birds.
Every guided tour is led by one of our National Park Service certified naturalists who’ll share favorite hidden places along with secrets and facts about the mysterious Everglades. Each guided adventure spans a 3 or 4-hour period and includes your canoe or kayak, lifejacket, brief paddling orientation, transportation from the Ivey House Inn to launch point, approximately 2 to 3 hours of paddle time, a snack, water, and return transportation.
Groups are small and intimate and range from 2 to 12 participants. Children must be at least 7-years-old to participate in our morning or afternoon adventures, and at least 10-years-old to participate in our sunset tour. For all tours, children under 12 must paddle in a tandem boat with a parent. We recommend you bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet/muddy, and bug spray.
Guided adventures and boat rentals are NOT offered on Seafood Festival weekend in early February.
