Ken Kroll, General Manager, retired from the electric utility industry, after 35 years to pursue a lifestyle as a full-time RVer with his wife Jerri. Since then, he has mastered the hospitality management business by working with the largest concessionaire in the National Park System at locations including the North Rim of the Grand Canyon; Flamingo Lodge & Marina in Everglades National Park; Furnace Creek Inn and Ranch; Stove Pipe Wells and Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley National Park; the Grand Canyon Railway; Zion National Park; and Bryce National Park. Since coming to Everglades City and the Ivey House two years ago, he’s spent most of his spare time either laying in bed watching the Three Stooges or hiking and exploring the beautiful wilderness trails of Big Cypress National Preserve.
Luigi, Front Desk Clerk, is a native of Mexico who arrived at the Ivey House in the early summer of 2011.
Scott, Front Desk Clerk, is an intrepid world explorer who also has strong roots in Florida. He has traveled extensively through Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, South America and Africa. His wry sense of humor and talent with "twisty gators" makes him one of the most entertaining members of our Ivey House staff!
